Lean Implementation Progress

Trimite is making major progress in the Lean implementation programme. For example the Bristol powder manufacturing unit has over 70 lean improvement projects that are currently being executed.

Following the successful pilot test of a customised 6S plan in Colour Matching and Weight Mix, all of the Uxbridge site has now begun a 6S roll-out. The site has been zoned into 8 areas, all of which have a 6S champion, and zone teams who are managing a complete 6S review and implementation. The Lean 5S plan has been upgraded to include Safety to give 6S.

The plan will target improving the environment in which we operate and is part of our 4p major investment in People, Processes, Production and Products that is revolutionising the business processes of the Group.
