Trimite have supplied coatings to the defence industry for almost all of their history. Products have include a range of Flame Resistant coatings, IRR paints, stoving and air drying finishes and lacquers to AFS 1871, DEF-STAN 80 series specifications.

These have been used on everything from Tornado fighter jets to tanks, lorries, trailers and so on.

Recently a new product has been launched called CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings), which is being widely used by our armed forces. This particular product is not damaged even when chemical weapons are used in battle.
