The use of plastic substrates for electronic equipment is now widespread. This can however lead to problems of radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD). Trimite has been a major supplier to manufacturers and painters of electronic equipment for many years and we have developed products to overcome these problems.

The range includes highly conductive nickel coatings that comply with a number of national and international standards including the United States Federal Communications (F.C.C.) Docket 20780 and the German Regulations V.D.E. 0871 – 0879. . These products are fast drying and adhere directly to most thermoplastic substrates. Primers for thermosetting plastics are available.
