Air drying technology simplifies British stove manufacturing

StoveLeading British multi-fuel stove manufacturer Arada have opted to use Weilburger’s senotherm® UHT 600 to colour their latest ranges.

Unlike conventional coating systems the final hardening of senotherm® UHT can be performed in process at temperatures of (18-23°C).

The air drying process means that Arada are able to offer a stove which has 360 protection from high temperatures whilst also reducing the chance of damage during transport and final assembly.

Senotherm® UHT 600 is a smoke free, solvent reduced coating system with “genuine” temperature resistance up to 600°C.

Impressed by the simplification of the painting process, the Devon based company are now rolling out the coatings across their entire plant and full ranges. The final hardening technology has improved the durability of the exterior of their stoves, making them more robust in the home and less susceptible to chips and scratches, allowing their product to look “good/as good as new” for longer.
