Trimite Global Coatings, a major manufacturer of paints and coatings both here in the UK and abroad, has had its ISO 9001 certification renewed for all its operational sites in Birmingham, Redditch, and Bolton.

ISO 9001 is the international standard awarded to organisations who can demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet all customer and regulatory requirements, from ensuring products are within specification to product delivery.

In addition, the Bolton site has also renewed its ISO 14001 certification, the internationally recognised standard for environmental management, which is required due to its proximity to Bradshaw Brook.

Nigel Smith, Group Managing Director, said: “As a company we are committed to delivering excellence throughout our operations which these ISO certifications underline.

“In addition, sustainability is a key value for our business, and we are doing everything we can to reduce our operational impacts on the environment, making the renewal of our ISO 14001 certification for the Bolton site crucial to protect local natural features.” He added: “Many thanks to all team members involved in helping us to achieve these important certifications which underline our focus on delivering high quality services as well as our commitment to protecting the environment.”
